Ah, time to turn the volume right up. Derek Miller plays his guitar with confidence and aggression. This album is guaranteed to have you doing the air guitar thing in front of the mirror.

"Girls!" is the most radio friendly track and is the story of addiction to, well, girls. "Throw the Hammer Down" is pure stadium rock. "Ooh la la" has an almost country feel but "Ocean" strays uncomfortably close to Bryan Adams territory. Fortunately he recovers from this with the storming "Shot of Cocaine" and a fearsome cover of "Mystery Train".

For those times when hard rocking' guitar playing is needed, Derek Miller is the weapon of choice. Turn up the volume to 11 and enjoy.
