The former front man of Super 8 Cum Shot delivers his solo album. As you might expect, this is not the kind of album to play on a romantic evening. It is instead a collection of high octane tracks that reinforce the very direct lyrics. It will not be to everyone's taste and is guaranteed to offend the sensitive.

"You Gotta Come Home With Me" is a tale of lust and one night stands to a stirring punk rock beat. "Happy Fag" is a pointed song on the subject of hypocrisy. "Perfect" reminds us all that we are shallow - "it's so hard to relate to the way you interior decorate" - neatly counterpointed by a positively jaunty tune. Fuelled by some demented guitar, "Mustang Daddy" takes the muscle car metaphor a new level. Ending on the dark and twisted "Trouble of the World", Jinx Titanic impresses with his impassioned vocals and caustic lyrics. Top marks to drummer Posey as well for making the floor shake.

Jinx Titanic. A commentator on relationships in modern times or just another lonely boy looking for love? Listen and make your own mind up. Available from CD Baby.
