In the deepest darkest recesses of any city you will find small record companies such as Paradigm releasing obscurities from the musical wonderland in which we live. This compact disc came in a DVD case but was otherwise devoid of information on its creators.

Doing a bit of research led us on a merry trail to a guy called Darin Winn in California and he turned out to be the man behind most everything on this CD. It's certainly off the mainstream as a piece of music sounding more like a games soundtrack than anything else. Assorted samples and musical instruments are layered into a soundscape that speaks of legend and the supernatural. Drifting throughout are serene yet piquant vocals from Diana W and it is these that keep this music from sinking in to cold artificiality.

Best experienced on headphones on a moonlit night.
