It must be the weather in Sweden. Maybe it is cold so much of the time that San Francisco must seem like the Promised Land. Monostereo hail from Sweden but their sound - with a spot of time travelling - fits right into sixties' San Francisco.

This EP has four tracks of guitar driven psych-pop that ooze sunshine and illegal substances. "Time Will Never Let You" swirls around in a lava lamp of love with the vocals creeping occasionally through the massed reverb and "Orange is Green" likewise expresses all the colourful obscurities of those long lost times.

These songs are quite reverential to the psych-pop sound but, hey, it's a retro world we live in. I can even see a few Stone Roses fan getting enthusiastic about this band's trip on our astral plane.
