This 4 track EP is the follow up to their 2003 release "Bound For Glory".  They have a real energetic sound that is somewhere between contemporary blues and rock - yet doesn't quite sit comfortably in either camp.  However, trust me when I say the album will sit very comfortably in your CD player.

The opening track "Lucky Day" is a catchy, up tempo number that immediately gets you wanting to hear more, and this is followed by the bluesier sound of "Someday You Will Come Home".  "Dancin' with Jive" is infectious out and out rock & roll reminiscent of Gene Vincent or Eddie Cochran, and has a closing straight out of the Elvis in Vegas handbook.  However, the Tokyo Tramps haven't left the building just yet.  The final song "King's Road" is quite possibly the highlight.  With the opening guitar riffs bringing back memories of Malaco's deep soul sound at its best (and as this is not a compliment we give lightly as it is label we hold in high esteem),and is a more restrained and soulful track with a hint of Mississippi blues seeping through.

The only disappointing aspect of this collection is that it is just too short.  However it does fulfil the old show business maxim of 'leave them wanting more' - and we can only hope that will be soon.
