Well, I can't fault the technical ability of this band but something went wrong here.
"Iskra" is held together with a simple synth line echoing the eighties but with the kind of droning vocals pumped up with the self importance that you'd expect of a modern day indie rocker. The song doesn't go anywhere and has both an awkward mid 8 section and some clumsy tempo changes that sound like they were added afterwards when somebody noticed that you couldn't tell the difference between the start and the end.
"Tormented Dreams" shows similar problems being dull, flat and - let's be honest - tedious with the only slight hint of life being the faint female vocals hidden behind the male lead vocal but even that vital spark can't lift this song out of the self indulgent category.
If you are between the ages of 11 and 14 and have every song on your iPod on permanent repeat then these two songs might appeal to you but otherwise you'll think you have Alzheimer's given the speed you will forget hearing them.
