I didn’t buy this one for the sleeve – honest, I didn’t! Well of course I did but there was a philosophical point to be made with so much political correctness about these days and that is that rock music and attractive women (with at least a PhD in Botany as brains are much more important than anatomical superiority) are just meant to go together. Whatever happened to rawk chicks anyway?

Anyway, there was probably some music to consider here. Yes, in fact there was and spinning us round at 45rpm are American band Sweet Apple who sound just like they have fallen out of a seventies timewarp (or from the soundtrack of that cutesy coming of age rock movie “Almost Famous”).  Guitars and melody are the order of the day here on “I’ve Got A Feeling (That Won’t Change) “ and I felt truly sentimental listening to it. Old fashioned values and all that&8230;

So, one word comes to mind here – Seattle. Pre grunge rock never dies or get stale even if you wonder how bands like this can be a precursor to something that has already happened.However, more beer and less philosophy is the way forward. Where is the tour bus parked anyway?
