There comes a time when a man slows down and takes a look back at his life. At that time, he will probably gain more than a passing interest in the heyday of west coast folk rock even though he may have been born five thousand miles from the California coast and has only seen Easy Rider once (and only the special edition DVD at that).
Unsurprisingly, a man might need a soundtrack for that time in his life. Something like Bravo Johnson's album "Come Taste The Sun". It's even got a song called "Hopper/Fonda" on it so you know that you have the right thing in your hand. Of course, the years are passing fast so you don't want to get too excited so the laconic verging on languid pace of this album should do just nicely. Add in some nice clear harmonies and mellow Allman Brothers style guitar for that all important retro vibe and you would have a song like "Ishmael". Or indeed a song like "Hobo".
Not too exciting and most likely designed that way, "Come Taste The Sun" should be the perfect accompaniment to that new Harley Davidson jacket that you just bought.
