Where goes the time? The time goes to the basement where Swedish retro synth heads Black Bug have taken up residence. Can you hear strobe lights? I think you can on "Police Helicopter" and cowbells too. Plastic cowbells at that. This is subterranean like early period Kraftwerk might have done if they had watched a selection of the good John Carpenter movies. This song makes you want to look over your shoulder.

Even more minimalist is "Shards of Glass" that nonetheless exudes urban pop fury like John Foxx did back in the day. It was there and then it was gone in not much more than the blink of an eye before being overtaken by the doom laden voices of "Machine". Overdosed on purposeful intent, this song crumbles to dust and was probably designed that way.

There's just not enough to feed a hungry man here but who wants a three course meal at 4 a.m.?
