This is the third EP in a fan funded series of four from Sofia Talvik and duly we find ourselves at the letter V. This time – just for a change - Ms Talvik has taken a different route and wrapped herself in plastic.

Needless to say, there is little to criticise about either the lyrics to the songs or Ms Talvik's curiously wistful yet simultaneously effervescent voice with "Delusional" tackling misunderstanding in an endearing way that seems almost too wholesome to be real. However, this Sofia Talvik so listen carefully to her words for the twist.

"Circle of Friends" gets neatly turned into metaphor to make its point while "To Watch The Bridges Burn" sounds upbeat but hides its true intent. Rounding things off on this four song EP is a revisited "Jonestown".

On the downside, however, are the cheap and nasty plastic backing tracks that sound like the kind of basic packaged tracks that come free with any bit of music software making the end result sound more like a set of demos than the prime example of European electronica that it could, and should, have been.
