Time for another debut EP and this time it is from Nottingham band Liberation Pact. It will perhaps be no surprise to find out, given that there are four lads in the band, that they practice their trade in the indie rock genre. It will also, therefore, not surprise you to find out that their EP "Everything's Ghost" contains no, wait for it, surprises.
To their credit, Liberation Pact throw a fair amount of youthful energy into the mix with vocalist Richard Clarke easily outclassing his bandmates at every turn. Less impressive are the rather mundane songs and the particularly unimaginative guitars that soon cast the band into the heard it all before pile.
Still, it is the band's debut EP so it is perhaps unreasonable to expect too much.
