This is the debut full length album release that irrevocably unleashed the Ghettobillies on an unsuspecting world.  At this stage of their development they are still heavily in acoustic mode.  However, the superbly constructed and infectiously likeable music, coupled with inventive and often outrageous lyrics, is already there for all to hear.

We have songs on offer that cover a fascinating array of subjects.  "Panty Raid" is about a fondness for wearing panties (with the line of the album: "I want to feel satin next to my skin, and I don't feel any less masculine" - rhyming of the highest order that Rodgers & Hart would have been proud of). We also have tales of cross dressing with "Steve".  Hmm, seems to be a bit of a theme developing here!  Then there is the self explanatory "My First Porno", and "Dr Love" about why doctors wear rubber gloves (do you really want us to explain further).

Don't be fooled by their predilection for somewhat 'off the wall' subjects however.  They do have a contemplative side to their music as well, the best example being "Whatever Happened".  A real subtle and from the heart type of song that shows their softer side (sorry guys, you can't fool us we know it's there).  There is seriously good material on offer here.  Resistance is futile, join the Ghettobillie nation now.
