I can’t say that I had heard of Sir. O before but, since he has been reviewed in “The Jewish Telegraph”, I figured that he had to be a person of good character and therefore worthy of some words.
There are but three songs here and it is fair to say that they all highlight Sir O’s ability to write commercial songs. The title track could easily be the work of a much better known soft rock songwriter, for instance. The next song “Stay” is a slower – and, dare I say it, more sensitive – song that would surely impress the housewives of this fair country and, as for “Three Words”, it could easily be an Oasis offcut.
When it comes down to it however, the songs outshine the performance by a notable amount. A few more miles on the Sir. O clock will probably sort that though.
