Recorded over 2 sessions in 1988 and 1989 and re-released in 2004, this is a workmanlike performance by Carey Bell and his road band. They run through standards such as "Sweet Little Woman", "Blues with a Feeling" and (of course) "Strange Woman" all driven by punchy harmonica of Carey Bell. The 4 tracks from the 1989 sessions use a different band featuring Lurrie Bell on guitar and vocals and the performances are considerably fresher with "Going Back to Louisiana" being a standout.
Released on a hybrid CD/SACD with an additional Dolby Surround Sound mix for some reason, this is respectable enough example of the Carey Bell sound.
