The BluesBunny knows little about Linda Dale but this is a delightful 4 track excursion into singer songwriter territory.
Charming in a European way, she mixes up a number of styles (jazz, pop, folk) to create something unique. Listening to the title track reminded the BluesBunny of sixties icons like Sandie Shaw, Sylvie Vartan and France Gall. The Latin rhythms of "He Made My Heart Sing" also impressed. All the songs were sympathetically arranged by Jacob Magnusson and Linda herself.
So, this is a short four song set that manages to keep our ears busy and leaves us wanting more. We look forward to more from Linda Dale.
