There are musicians who revel in complexity. Those musicians are often referred as jazz musicians. Fortunately, there are also musicians who know that getting to the point in less than three minutes has been scientifically proven to increase listener enjoyment by a factor of eleven. Lost Angels give us three songs on their new EP “Teenage Outlaw” and not one of them exceeds three minutes in duration. Good times are ahead.
Lost Angels - Becca Murray, Marko MacDonald and Jack Doe – duly keep it raucous and to the point and, although the pace is energetic rather than frenetic, their punk flavoured approach to making music soon transforms the world into a better place and, by the simple addition of more beer, this cocktail of volume and singalong choruses becomes rather addictive.
“Teenage Outlaw” may not actually cause juvenile delinquency or a zombie apocalypse yet, if you turn the volume right up, you might well start to believe that it could.
