Another day, another pop princess. Not really but it sometimes seems that way and, as if to prove the point, along comes Linds Sais with her EP “Glitter Cowgirl”.
No doubt about, the six songs that make up “Glitter Cowgirl” are commercial and have all the elements that you need for radio airplay these days yet, beneath all the loops and processing, it is not all fluffy bunnies and nice shoes with Linds Sais throwing in enough introspective content to draw parallels with any acoustic singer songwriter of these troubled times. This is always done in the context of today though with even social media references making their way into her, undoubtedly heartfelt, words.
So, Linds Sais is most certainly a potential pop princess of today and, while the production on this EP sometimes overcomes rather than enhances her talent, there is also the potential for a better tomorrow in there.
