Four songs and only one of them breaks the two minute barrier? That’s doing it old school punk style and Heather The Jerk duly deserve some maximum volume appreciation for their EP “Very Motorcycle.”

In a time when artistic pretension or computerised perfection often contaminates the enjoyment that can be had from music, Heather The Jerk are that cool drink of water after a long walk through the desert of mediocrity. There is no deeper meaning to the lyrics, no stance on things that no one has any control over anyway for this is the music of the simplest kind and that’s the best kind if you like it as loud and brash as I do. Heather The Jerk are about as punk as punk would be if punk were to be found alive and well in the here and now.

Naturally, and this is surely an example of God’s will, this EP is available on vinyl from Goodbye Boozy Records.
