Release Year: 2008

Despite being another beautifully packaged release from Wee Pop Records, this one started to bother me. There just can't be that much cuteness left in the world and certainly not enough to sustain an Alaskan bear who now lives in Oregon (although, according to the title track, Alaskan bears are not that popular in Oregon) as he was bored in Alaska. Doing some research uncovered photos of a white cuddly toy doing the kind of things that white cuddly toys do like reading a book and playing the piano! Sometimes you wonder about musicians…

Bears do that cute thing well. Even that traitor to his class Paddington relies on it. However, the five songs on this EP did tend to merge into each other but that might have been by design. It's a story, after all. With chapters and all that. Why have I developed a sudden urge to wear a sky blue acrylic pullover?

Maybe they don't have enough beer in Oregon. Or enough women. There has to be a reason for all this. It's driving me to drink.

Avialable from the Wee Pop Records website.
