Ah, the musical curiosities that you'll find out there in the wonderful world of independent music. All sorts of forgotten musical media formats still survive and this release comes on a cassette. Time to plunder your parent's house. They're bound to have one somewhere.
Determinedly lo-fi in their approach and none the worse for that, Mitchell Museum rattle through "Tiger Heartbeat" like an indie rock band who are secretly major league Pastels fans. "In the Bloodwind" starts off with the buzzes and screeches beloved of home brewed electronica before throwing in loops of assorted noises mixed with a commendable lightness of touch and perhaps even a bit of humour.
Worth a listen and a smile.
