Twee pop. Dream pop. It's all starting to sound the same to me. Those jangly uninspired guitars, the half sung half masked by reverb vocals are practically industry standard these days and "Fortune Map" stays on that safe ground throughout. The production sounds like a low budget take on the (very) early Spector style further highlighting the lack of musical imagination and, unfortunately, it just does not bear comparison to the likes of Springfactory.

However, it is on vinyl (which is good) and that very same vinyl is shared with "Miss Tierney" by Wake the President (which is also good) but ultimately "Fortune Map" fails to convince. It's all pleasant enough but you'll have trouble remembering it ten minutes after you heard it.
