Duane Large is a man with not one but two music degrees which makes this album all the more surprising. I don't suppose it was deliberate move but he has managed to sound no different to any of the many thousands of untutored singer songwriters peddling their wares out there.
Musically, there is nothing here to offend but also nothing to inspire and - perhaps of more concern - nothing to remember. He comes across as an earnest performer but the fact is that neither his song writing nor his singing are actually memorable.
This album is inoffensive but that's about all it has in its favour.
