Sometimes life worries me. Well actually it doesn't because after a while you get to realising that it is going to happen no matter what. Causality, event horizons - scientists have words (and research grants) for it.

To the case of Lucy and the Caterpillar then. Now, I listen to quite a lot of twee pop and I drink beer There are people who suggest that is why I drink beer. Lucy and the Caterpillar worry me. She should be twee pop - Caterpillar is apparently her guitar - but these songs (even though Beatrix Potter books get mentioned in "Lucy's Opinion") are just too well written, arranged and produced. Lucy herself has one of those voices that sound off key but actually isn't. Just like a primary school teacher who plays the piano, in fact.

Laced with that quintessentially eccentric English charm, you just can't help but like this three song EP. When you wake up in the morning, you will hate yourself for it. But that's just the way life is.
