It's a guy thing really. Her face looks familiar but you can't quite place the name. Were you one beer past good judgement or do you actually know who she is? Looking at the cover of this album, that whole she looks familiar thing hits you again. Once I heard her voice, it all became clear as this countrified album is by none other than Elisa Fiorillo (using her married name).

Ms Fiorillo has done pop, she's done jazz and done it well. However, her venture into very mainstream country is more of a hit and miss affair. Most of the problem is related to the songs. Don't get me wrong as there is good stuff in there such as "Lost and Found" and the stand out track of the album "Light That Shines" but too many songs sound like filler on a Faith Hill album.

Fans of Ms Fiorillo will no doubt be glad for the opportunity to enjoy her voice once more but, for the most part, this is too generic a collection of songs to stand out from the crowd. It's worthy of a listen anyway.
